We had a group dinner here during our first night in Rio. The space was warm and inviting with plenty of room for many tables and seating, along with an upstairs area. In the center there was a buffet with a plethora of options. For the meat, waiters came around and cut it in front of us.
I tried both the fresh Passionfruit and Mango juices. I preferred the Passionfruit one, as it was lightly sweet, tangy, and oh so refreshing. The Mango one was decent, but too pulpy for me.
At the buffet, there was warm cheese bread, prosciutto and other meats, bread, cheese, seafood soup, veggie soup, salad bar, crab cakes, sausage, potatoes cooked in different ways, risotto, various veggie dishes, curries, yuca fries, sushi (including vegetarian), and more. Everything was quite flavorful and tasty.
Out of the meat, my favorite was the prime rib, which was tender and well seasoned. The steak was also delicious and very juicy, succulent. I also enjoyed the lamb and pork.
For dessert, we were served fruit with vanilla ice cream. I had asked for coffee, hoping I would be able to get it with my dessert, but it is customary for it to be given after. The coffee was wonderful, rich and smooth.
Service was pretty good. Our waiters were friendly and attentive.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 9 de nov. de 2023
Experience: My husband and I made reservations to eat here during our first evening in Rio. Wow wow wow. We made reservations for 7pm on a Tuesday evening. Since we went during off season, their Spring, we didn't have any issues making a reservation. When we arrived we were kindly greeted and immediately seated in the back room. It wasn't crowded, perhaps on the emptier side, but this was the perfect situation for us. We paid 215 Brazilian Real (around $44) for the buffet with meat. We each got a wine and shared a dessert. For roughly $60 each we ate like royals and weren't rushed. It was an amazing experience that I highly recommend everyone to try when in Rio.
Food/ Drinks: We paid for the buffet and meat. The buffet was marvelous. It ranged from an array of cheeses, nuts, olives, pastas, seafood, sushi. traditional Brazilian beans, stews, and veggies, etc. One could easily fill up and leave satisfied with the buffet. We felt, to get the full experience, that we had to have the meet. I've never had so many different cuts of high quality meat. Decadent, savory, perfectly cooked. Wow. My favorite was the butterfly picanha.
Parking: This is located in the touristy part of the city, walking distance from Copacabana Beach. Our walk from the hotel was about 6 minutes. Walking back was great after a heavier meal. If you can, just enjoy the walk over, even if it's 30 minutes or more. Worth it.
Verdict: Easy 5 stars, the food was delicious, experience was wonderful, price point was fantastic, staff was friendly. Go.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0 - 16 de mar. de 20241 check-in
I was on tour in Rio and the welcome dinner was held at this restaurant. WhileI don't eat meat, there's plenty to eat at the salad bar. Plus they bring to the table cheese bread and cassava. The salad bar in itself has a big variety of items. I aye smoked salmon, hearts of palm, and garlic bread. I saw sushi but didn't get any. Meat is brought to your table and includes fish which I had. I had a refreshing passion fruit juice. For dessert we were served fruit salad topped with a vanilla ice cream. On the wall is a mural of famous Bossa Nova artists. Great restaurant for tourists.

We recently visited this Brazilian steakhouse and I have to say it 100% exceeds expectations. This was a fancy establishment, and the service was top-notch. Their buffet bar has some really good options. My favorite from there would have to be the sushi. It was surprisingly tasty and flavorful and fresh. Of course we came for the meat. Everything was cooked to your order and was absolutely delicious. This was the first Brazilian steakhouse that offered ribeye and short rib with their Buffet. This was definitely what stood out to me the most, and separated them from other steakhouses. Highly recommend!

This place was incredible. On our first day in Brazil, I decided to take myself and the family to this restaurant. The hostess was equal parts charming and equal parts gracious. We started the meal with the salad part. The variety and the quality was top-notch. We had to make two trips to sample almost every item offered. Do yourself a favor and get the sashmi. The fish was fresh and tender. I had this fire-seared salmon. It was out of this world. Plus the carpaccio. Fantastic!
I was shocked that we still had room for the meats. The picanhas was so tender and well-seasoned. Sirloin, prime rib, chicken, pork belly were all spot-on. The beef rib was a showstopper for me. Someone mentioned it was something out of the Flintstones cartoon. One negative note though, the fish on the skewer was a bit too dry for me. It was flaky like a Chilean sea bass but had none of the moistness.
Overall, great experience and great service. I had Brazilian bbq before but in New York and New Jersey. This is by far, the best I ever had.
Highly recommend it.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 24 de fev. de 2024
This is the place in rio to have churrascaria per our private guide. We made a reservation with no problems but after that there was a some language issues. We wanted the Brazilian lemonada suica...no avail we only got the regular. The salad bar was very good with crab cakes and lots of salmon sushi and sashimi. There were some Brazilian traditional food like Feijoada bobo de camarao and my favorite chicharron. The meat offerings to us I guess unlike US you can't really choose how you want it cooked. They bring it to you the way you should eat it. I found a lot of the more rare than I like it to be. The picanha that I thought would be the star in this restaurant was just ok. They do have 2 different types though. The sides were better than American churrascarias but they were not as all you can eat as US. Once we got 2 refills of only 3 pao de queijo they didn't want to give us anymore. Overall good experience but don't expect things like how it is in U.S. The beef rib here is the star of their show but you only get one slice and they are reluctant to give you another like US.

The staff's attention to detail, our experience, and everything in general was amazing. The food was amazing, the wine selection was out of this world, and the room itself was warm and comforting. The salad bar and sushi bar was not what I expected at all. Normally this is where they will get you, but the fish was perfect and the salads and small bites were worth repeat trips. I will be back, and we will bring another group.

No trip to Rio is complete without visiting this fine establishment. Walking in the atmosphere oozes luxury. After dining here, I refuse to go to Fogo De Chao because this restaurant was not commercialized. The salad bar selections are out of this world from the fresh tuna to the smoked herring. There was even a sushi bar. The variety of the bars had a lot of interesting selections. Each cut of meat was served and cooked perfectly. The meat comes with sides of fries and cassava. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. Treat yourself!

A solid all you can eat steakhouse in Rio! The appetizers bar had a lot of Brazilian specialties. A must try is the sausages- smoked super well! The meats themselves are pretty tender and flavorful too. And the staff is the friendliest!
