After starting her career 33 years ago as a personal care assistant (PCA), Connie Lunsford has grown to become a clinical manager in our PICU. Inspired by the mentorship she received, Connie is now actively involved in our nurse-to-nurse mentor program and recently launched a RN-PCA mentor program with the hope that PCAs will grow in their careers to become registered nurses. This #NursesWeek we want to thank Connie for her dedication to our patients and for helping to make sure the next generation of nurses are prepared to care for our patients and families as well as she has for more than three decades! #Nurse #NurseLife #NurseJobs
